The World Championships (Athens, Greece on March 29
through April 6, 2004) - Grandmaster Perry and Master McArther
traveled to the world championships in Athens, Greece. Please
congratulate both for their success at this top level of
competition.

won Gold in Sparring, Gold in 8th Dan and above Forms, Silver in
Weapons, Silver in Special Seniors (46 - 56) and Bronze in Korean
Forms (35 and above)

McArther
won gold in Sparring, gold in Korean Forms (35 and above), Gold in
Open Forms (35 - 45), and Silver in TKD Forms (18 and above)

Kicking his way to Athens

Steve
McArther started studying tae kwon do because he was afraid he'd get
beaten up in high school.
He doesn't have
to worry about that any more.
McArther has
studied the martial art of tae kwon do for 21 years, achieving the
level of master instructor. From the 13-year-old first learning to

As if martial arts students
in Collinsville did not have enough reason to admire their instructor, four
medals - three gold and one silver - in international competition should do the
trick.
